We are thinking of booking one of the Universal Hotels for our last 2 nights in August so we can go to the Universal parks and get the front of line passes.
Does anyone know which is the best site to book a room?? Am I better going straight to Universal to book or will I get a better price elsewhere??
Thanks
Gill

Universal hotels don't seem to come up on many of the normal hotel sites so I just booked direct. Royal Pacific Resort looks to be the cheapest. There are ways of getting discounts. The most often mentioned is being a member of the AA. Trouble is that AA membership is so expensive that I didn't bother!
Make sure you sign up to LoewsFirst Membership and you'll get a freebie or two during your stay.
Maybe staying for 2 nights at the end of you holiday fits in with your plans better? Otherwise you might consider doing what we're doing and booking 2 separate nights (within the 14 day validity period on the tickets). That way you get FOLP for 4 days rather than 3 ;) .

I've not seen anywhere cheaper than the Universal website. You can always use Val to shop around & book for you and save you doing it ;)

do not think you will find them cheaper on any sites , loews says they will match prices if you find them cheaper. if you are booking using aaa book early as there is only a certain amount made available for these rates. you could check out supersaver rates usually are around 20%, but i would book the room then as rates become available nearer your time call and get the new rate applied.

We tried everywhere and the Universal website was never beaten.
RPR is a bit less expensive and if you are staying just to get FOTL passes then is probably the best bet . It is an excellent hotel but , IMO, the other 2 are even better if you plan on spending some time round the hotel.
All 3 hotels have excellent pools though the HRH one is annoyingly shallow.
