Hi,
Still looking to decide on a villa for next year and have now seen one in Lake Wilson Preserve that we like the look of.

Does anyone have any experience of this community that you could share please ?

We have stayed in Florida villas twice (Lindfields and Indian Ridge) but not really been down close to Lake Wilson.

Thanks

We didn't stay a Lake Wilson Preserve but stayed at Sandy Ridge. We passed Lake Wilson community though and the villas look absolutely gorgeous. Lake Wilson is not as close to 192 as Lindfields and it is approx 5 / 6 miles from 192. We didn;t find the drive tiresome or a pain and quiet enjoyed it. It is close to Championsgate and to the I4 for easy access to attractions. Very quiet and peaceful.

Lake Wilson Preserve is a small community of just 96 homes ranging from 3 bed single story to 5 bed two story homes with 20 ft balconies off the master suite. The whole estate is very well kept & quiet.

Located opposite reunion Resort the drive to WDW takes just 10 minutes and you have great links to the I4 at junction 58. I think it's actually just one set of traffic lights between you and the magic.

There's a cluster of restaurants and shops at Championsgate including Publix/Chillis/McDonalds etc (just search Championsgate for more info) and theres CVS just down the road too plus at the moment they are building another Publix rioght opposite Reunion which should be completed for Spring 2008. The Omni resort is just 2 mins away and you can also eat there. Whilst a few of the other typical chain restaurants can be found just one junction down the I4 and Celebration is also just a few minutes away.

Hope this helps :wavey:

Thanks Welshwiz.

Do you know if the construction work you mention is anywhere near the villas or is it away from there ?

Well away from sight and either side of the community is tropical foresty looking plots of land.

Also the drive up there is really nice past Reunion with palm tree lined verges & fountains etc.

We stayed there in January this year and loved it. At the time we went there was a lot of road works on the I4 heading to Disney, So we found it much quicker to go on the Osceola Polk Line Road towards I4 but turn right at the 1st set of traffic lights theres a Pharmacy on the corner (think its Wallgreens) and follow that road all the way up to the 192. Think the road you need to go up is something like S Lake Wilson road. The villas are loverly. Its so close to most things. We loved it.

Glad you liked it Dee :o: ....the pharmacy on the corner I think you're thinking of is CVS by the lights at Old Lake Wilson Road & this road takes you straight up to the 192 plus it's a very quiet road and still just a 10 minute drive to WDW

Thanks again Welshwiz and Hunnybunny.

Just checked out ownership, looks in order, so think this could be the place we lay our heads for next years holiday .....

Better go and get it all confirmed before it goes elsewhere.

Cheers
