Maybe a bit early to put this up as I am sure I will change it before we go, but I was looking for some feedback - DH is not that interested in discussing our holiday at this point, needs to be at least in the same year of travel before he want to talk about it - so who better to ask for some tips/advice than some like minded people on the DIBB. Please feel free to give any comments good or bad as I am interested in your advice.

OK so here goes - going will be me, DH, DD (12, almost 13) and DS (9)

Wed 9 Apr - Flight arrive at mco @ 17:45

Thu 10 Apr - Epcot

Fri 11 Apr - Animal Kingdom

Sat 12 Apr - Chill day

Sun 13 Apr - Disney MGM Studios

Mon 14 Apr - Magic Kingdom

Tue 15 Apr - Aquatica (fingers crossed its open)

Wed 16 Apr - Busch Gardens

Thu 17 Apr - Islands of Adventure

Fri 18 Apr - Universal Studios

Sat 19 Apr - Chill Day

Sun 20 Apr - Discovery Cove (surprise for the kids)

Mon 21 Apr - Busch Gardens

Tue 22 Apr - Blizzard Beach

Wed 23 Apr - Seaworld

Thu 24 Apr - Islands of Adventure

Fri 25 Apr - Chill day or repeat trip to Aquatica

Sat 26 Apr - Gatorland on way to airport (have 19:45 flight home)

I also have a list of things we would like to do which I was thinking we could do depending on how much time/energy we had left each day - These are as follows - Mini Golf, Air Boat ride, Beach, Boardwalk, Disney Quest, Celebration, Old Town, Cinema, Trip on the Seascreamer

For shopping I've for got - Mall at Millennia, DTD, Florida Mall and Prime Outlets.

Eating - Hard Rock cafe at DTD, PF Changs, Italian at Mall at Millennia, Tony Romas, TGI's Sweet Tomatoes, IHOP, Cracker Barrel - this is just a list of places that I liked the sound of when reading trip reports etc :d:

OK thats as far as I've got so far - all words of wisdom welcome :pgig:

Gosh, you are getting a lot done in your 2 weeks.

We will be there at the same time as you but we are going for 3 weeks and have younger children so we will probably take it a bit slower.

The only thing I have planned at this stage is a character breakfast at MGM on 20th with is my sons 4 birthday.

Don't know if the Pirate & Princess Party is your thing but I've seen a coupld of threads to say they might be doing some in April. I think we might try and squeeze one in.

:pgig: :pgig: My husband also thinks I'm bonkers when I try to discuss what we plan to do, he better get ready because as soon as Christmas is over it's plan plan plan :pgig: :pgig:

I'm not too sure about the Pirate and Princess Party - Apparently they will not be doing character autographs - we will see

DD who will be almost 13 is more into the big rides, hence two visits to IOA and BG. DS thinks he wants to go on the Hulk, we will see how he feels whe we get there - if he is tall enough by the time we go.

Hope I am not speaking out of turn but noticed you were going to visit Gatorland on your last day..Last year we (myseld, DH and DS 6 and 2yrs) visited on our 2nd last day- we were sooooo disapointed..Really, In my opinion it was not worth the money. It was hot, there was no shade and the eating facilities were dreadful. We all regretted wasting half a day and wished that we had returned to one of the major parks.

Hey no problem, all advice welcome. We just thought it would be an ok way to spend a few hours on the way back to the airport for our flight home - have seen that it gets mixed reviews so wondered if it was worth a half day visit.

We're going about the same time as you and are doing more or less the same things. This time we won't be doing Discovery Cove or Gatorland as we have done them before. I would say that Gatorland is OK for half a day and we all enjoyed it, (the kids were 7 & 9 when we went), but as MARL said, there is nowhere decent to eat there. You'll probably find that you don't spend entire days in the water parks, so you might fit in some of your extra things to do on those days. :wavey:

Thanks Jaybeez - Looks like if we are going to go to Gatorland on our last day we should grab something to eat before we go. I've stuck it in for the last day as its not going to be a big deal if we don't go. - I am assuming we can pay at the door?

I have all but given up trying to figure out how we are going to do the "other" things. I take my hat off to all the peeps who manage to do a full itinerary with meals and evening activities - Its taken me all my time to come up with which park on which day.

At the moment I am taking the option of lets see how we feel at the end of each day approach - but with a list of "other" things that we would like to do.
