Disney AP renewal

Hi,
Is it correct that I can renew my Disney AP upto 30 days after it's expired or do I need to renew it before it expires ?

The policy is that you can renew for upto 30 days after the expiry of the AP but they have some leeway on this.

I renewed mine last year at Downtown Disney - my AP had expired about 45 days before and they renewed it for me straigthaway at the renewal rate. The only thing you have to be aware of is that your new AP will start from the day your old one expired.
