Kennedy Space Center Space Pass

I was looking for prices on the space pass for KSC, and one of the sites I looked at said you can't have the dine with an astronaugh lunch (that's part and parcel of the space pass) on the same day as the tour! I know the space pass is valid for 2 days but this is mega annoying as the thought of having to trapse back to KSC on a second day isn't too appealing! We are already struggling to fit everything we want to do in to our honeymoon!

Has anyone been to KSC who can advise?

When we did this trip in 2004 everything was done on the one day including hall of fame

You can normally buy a "dine with an astronaut" ticket on the gate - we went on President's Day and there was still plenty of availability.

In 2006, we bought a standard pass from one atttraction ticket website, and a separate "dine with an astronaut" only ticket off another different website, both in advance, ........but I'm sorry I can't remember which ones...you may have to have a search around to see if you can still find the dine only one as its not very common.

We only did the one day ...but there is plenty to see if you do two......I'd highly recommend the lunch BTW......good value & good fun.

You can't do the 'Then and Now' tour on the same day as you have 'Lunch with an astronaut' as the tour leaves at 11:30 and 12:50 so you'd miss it.

The 'Up Close' tour leaves at 10:00 and 13:50 so you would do that one on the day of your lunch.

We went for one day and went to guest relations in main foyer. We asked if we could do the dine and they fitted us in that day .It cost $44 for the pair of us . Good food as well.

Hi we did the lunch with the astronaut and also the NASA up close tour in May of this year all on the same day, we did not go back on the second day, I think that we did it justice in one day. The lunch was ok, fairly good food, the astronaut was a retired one who had only flown once, but it was ok!
We will be there this coming Thursday hoping to see the shuttle launch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
