Remember entering a comp in our local paper AGES ago & have just had a delivery of 2 return tickets to Paris or Lille on Eurostar!
So now my dilemma is do just me & DH go on a romantic break to Paris or do we go to Disneyland for a Disney fix & if we do, do we take the kids(Ages 2.5 & 13!)?
We've been to Paris & Disney before but never done Disney without kids in tow which I think may be quite nice. The thought of being able to enjoy 'Adult' meal times at Disney Village is very appealing! Plus it would be nice to go on the rides with DH instead of oneof us always having to wait with the little one! ;)
But, would a trip on our own to Disney leave me feeling so guilty if we leave them behind?(We are all off to Orlando next Oct!) :spin:
Any Thoughts please?!!

A weekend on your own sounds very tempting, but I don't think I could leave my DS if I was going to Disney (much as I'd like to have some time on our own), the guilt would be too much! :confused2
Although a romantic break in Paris without Disney could feel ok...! Maybe even, if you felt the sudden spontaneous urge to visit Disney for the day.... ;)

Thanks for your input!
If we go alone I'd only be able to leave kids for 2 nights but if we take them with us we'd go for 3 nights so I'm drawn to that option really-Plus like you say, I'd probably walk around Disney just thinking how the kids would have loved it!
Not overly fussed on going to Paris as seen it all b4 & as I'm a Disneyholic I think I'd rather be there!
Problem is though, DH hated DLP last time we went & says he'll never go there again....but its my win so my choice!LOL!!(He can stay at home & I'll take the kids!!) ;)

DH and I did DLP without the kids last year (cruel, but we did take them to WDW only 8 weeks later, so they were hardly hard done by ;) ). We were going to stay in Paris, but hotels were a fortune, even for a flea pit - so we stayed in luxury at the Disneyland Hotel and had a brilliant time. We arent HUGE fans of DLP although we have been a couple of times now, so we know whats good and bad and what to avoid!!
The hotel is lovely and you can easily relax and just wander round the village without it being to "full on Disney". We enjoyed ourselves a lot and would recommend it for a couples break! We did pop into Paris for the day -although like you, we have done that before too, so didnt spend a huge amount of time there. Boat trip, Hard Rock lunch, shopping - back on train!!

An Adult only trip is very appealing...We are taking kids to Orlando in October after all, plus i think DH may agree if its a little 'romantic' DLP break iykwim!! ;)
The Eurostar ticket's just for 2 so we'd have to pay for big Ds so with that cost & spends for them once there perhaps we could stretch to Disneyland hotel if just 2 of us!!LOL!!
Would the guilt be too much to bear?? :confused2

I could go to Disney without the kids (& ours are teenagers now) but DH won't ! Why not just go to Paris on your own it's lovely whatever time of year you go
