It is pretty scary when you look at it and the drop is higher than Oblivion!!!
There's also more to it (not much lol) - Oblivion is over in 11 seconds or something??)

When we went up to do it, I was determined not to do the front row and went to the back ones - did it twice and the rush was fantastic!! Then I just said let's go to the front and it was the BEST ever!

Can't wait to do it again, especially as it's floorless now (wasn't when I did it)

Oblivion is a 3 second thrill, Sheikra is as Sue describes it. :D

Looking forward to the now floorless Sheikra.

I was a bit nervous about doing Sheikra the first time, although I'd enjoyed Oblivion. I ended up loving it and can't wait to go back and do it again. :)

Thoroughly recommended.

What a ride! In our top three rides, and that was WITH the floor! We found it exhilerating, but also so smooth.

The journey up to the top is just so steep and long, plenty of time for those nerves to kick in, and a lovely view if you can stand it! :)

Can't wait to try the floorless version next year.

Did Sheikra in August and for the first time ever I was a bit nervous when waiting in line. However once on it I thought it was great. After the initial drop though it felt a bit boring to us I think Oblivion was just as scary because of going into the dark hole.

Can't wait to do it! Our 85 year old great grandad loved it when they went in February! I couldn't believe that he went on it tho! :confused2

We took DD on it for her first time in October and she loved it. We found out from some American girls that if you get the back row you have the best experience so we headed for the back..... I was on the end too and the adrenaline rush is amazing!! You can't see the track from the back row so it feels & looks like you are just freefalling! BRILLIANT!!!!

Personally I found Kumbaa to be worse than Sheikra, but then I don't mind drops it's corkscrews and inversions that do me in!

Sadly I never got to ride Montu as it was continually breaking down....looked good though.
