Hi folks,
What are you allowed to take into the parks? i was hoping to take in some bottled water and afew snacks like bags of crisps and sweeties, maybe some donut type cakes. Any advice? anyone had things removed?

never had a problem with anything in our bags...they don't like you to take the wheeled coolers tho.

They recently (October) made us open all bags to be inspected at WDW and Seaworld (we didn't do Universal).

They had a quick look and that was that - all zips have to be opened so they can look inside each compartment. We had a rucksack with bottles in (water, not wine!!) and they were never questioned. However, word of warning! My brother went to Busch Gardens with a sandwich, and was made to eat it before he went in the gates!!! :wavey:

At all the parks we went to we had to open em up and they had a look, we had water, snacks etc in and noone said a word. Our friends who live over in Florida go to a Disney park weekly and always take a pack up and have never been told to dispose of any of the stuff.

I've never had a problem taking snacks and water through, we saw people with huge cool bags and they never got stopped going in.

Good grief! I would have told them to stuff it and spent my money elsewhere!

me and my family have always taken snaks in the parks and water bottles filled with ice and we have never had a problem even with the bag search they tend to ignore food(this was o6 so might have changed since then).

Maybe they are not looking for food and drink?

Good to know as we are planning on taking food and bottles of water etc for the little ones to have - I think the adults will go counter service though! :)
