Decided on a quick 2 night 'Adult' only break to DLP at beginning of Feb but can't decide which hotel to choose!
Narrowed it down to Newport Bay club or Sequoia Lodge but not stayed at either so which is nicer? :confused2
Cant stretch to Disneyland Hotel although it looks lovely as does The New York, can anyone really justify the cost of staying here for only 2 nights though, when not much time's spent in hotel? :omg:
Any suggestions?
Like the idea of 'On site' so we can stroll to/from parks & Disney Village! :)

We stayed at Newport Bay a couple of weeks ago. I booked Admiral's Floor which was only £16 extra and meant that we got a free tea/coffee basket (you need to request this), free pool towels and a room near the lifts, which is a bonus as some rooms can be a long walk from a lift! There are also dedicated check-in desks which can save a long queue at Reception. The only downsides are long queues for breakfast if you arrive after around 8.15/30am and the fact that there often seem to be some minor maintenance niggles. However, I've heard the same said about Sequoia.
We enjoyed our stay here but I think if we could afford it, we'd stay at the New York next time as it is quite a bit closer! Nevertheless, I'd say it was only about a 15 min walk and you can always catch one of the free yellow shuttle buses from the front of the hotel.

I love the look of the Newport Bay.

Have stayed at Sequoia,Newport and new york, The queues for breakfast at the sequoia were long and I would say this was the more child friendly hotel. The Newport is further to walk but ok. Personally if I was going on an adult break I would go back to the New Yorker the queues for breakfast were minimal, it is closer to the parks and the hotel restaurant is geared more towards adults.

Vote for New York. Closest hotel, apart from ££££DisneyHotel. Also really good sized rooms
