View Full Version : Excursions in Hawaii.
Has any-one got info on excursions in Hawaii.
Im going for 8 nights and definetly want to see Pearl Harbour and do underwater diving.
Ill book a couple of trips before i go but theres so many to choose from im having trouble deciding- is there loads of places that i can book trips once im there or would i be better doing them all before we leave.
Also if any-one can recommend trips theyve done that would be great.
Were staying at Waikiki Beach

Hi Kerry
We did the Pearl Harbour trip and it was well worth it. We also did an evening dinner cruise as it was our Silver Wedding anniversary.
This was five star luxury but wasn't mega expensive, we were taken from the hotel and returned by limo. If it's just the two of you and something you may be interested I'll try and dig out the details for you.

We did the Pearl Harbour tour and thought it was excellent, very moving. The tour we did took in a number of sights around Oahu
We also did a helicopter tour over the island that was fascinating. It wasn't cheap but well worth the money, flying over the volcanos and seeing Waikiki Beach from the air was amazing.
We also took a bus from Waikiki to Hanauma (sp?!) Bay and that was gorgeous.
I loved Hawaii, I'm very envious - hope you have a fantastic trip. :)

The name of the Company was Paradise Cruise Ltd. Their website is www.paradisecruises.com and are based on 1540 South King Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96826
Reservations number is 808 983 7827, if I remember correctly we sent an email to book and they sent me a booking form to scan, sign and return.
We sailed on was The Star of Honolulu and did the sunset cruise, which included the limo, pre drinks and a five course dinner but they cater for lots of different budgets and occasions.
I'm sure you'll have a wonderful trip, it's one place I intend to go back to.

Hawaii is gorgeous just take in all the smells from flowers every where
Pearl harbour is a must but try to get there early before all the tour buses arive. There are various cruises and island tours. We have stayed at the Outrigger reef on the beach just go for one of their pineapple filled cocktails.
Did the walk up to the top of diamond head volcanoe and the views are amazing of waikiki.
Must tries are the macadamia nuts and the famous kona coffee.
Bean couple of times and can't wait to go back.
Have a fab time
