:wavey: Going to florida may 16 2008 my daughter will be 10 on the 27 may will i need to buy her adult disney tickets and universal tickets looking at 14 day disney anyone no cheapest site for tickets .thanks

:wave: my son was 10 in Feb and we went in Oct but i just purchased a childs pass for all parks for him(bit cheeky i know),we were never asked his age at any parks, although we did buy them over there at Walmart, mind you there isnt much difference in price for child and adult now so if you dont want to take the chance i would just get the adult tickets, best to shop around at different agents there is a thread somewhere on this site about attraction tickets but not sure where, someone will know and post it for your :wave: :pd

buy a childs ticket and then take it to guest services at any park after her birthday and they will exchange it for an adult ticket,when we did this there was no charge.

Yes. like JAXX says, buy the childs ticket as she will only be 9 on your first visit. On her 10th birthday, call in at Guest Services and they should renew for free. Also whilst in Guest Services ask for a Birthday Badge to wear around the park. We had a great time with Cast Members in AK when one of our DDs had her 13th whilst we were there.

Universal will upgrade and the price will vary depending on the type of ticket you have. It can be as little as $10 difference. 4 and 5 park flextickets can't be upgraded though as they are shared revenue between other parks.

My daughter had her 10th birthday out there a couple of years ago. We onky had a childrens ticket and when we asked at guest relations about changing to an adult ticket, they told us we didn't have to as they go by the age of the child when it is first used. We had 14 day ultimate tickets, I suppose it would be different if you had non-expiry tickets :d:
