Is this right simpsons ride opening 2009. i thought it was 08. does anyone know?

Take a look at the attractions page on the official US website here, (http://www.universalorlando.com/usf_attr_simpsons.html) it says "Coming Spring 2008!"

i think it was on the trip advisor forum but not 100% sure. what do they class as spring. is june/july summer or spring

I would believe Spring is March/April/May and Summer is anytime after that.

Yeah that sounds about right, I would've thought they'd try and get it open for the busy Easter period.

Similar to the BTTF format but going through Springfield and other areas from the cartoons

Just think BTTF with extra effects added, and hopefully a lot smoother to ride. :spin:

Apparently the ride building still looks more or less the same, it has just had a bit of a repaint with some new colours. Hopefully they'll add some Simpsons style themeing before it's finished.

We're there last week and they are converting Back To the Future Ride at this very moment for The Simpsons. It says it'll be ready spring 2008. They have already done the Kwick-E- Mart and are selling Simpson goods already!!!!!
