Hi please can someone put my mind at rest, I ordered our park tickets through the company we have booked holiday with, i asked when i booked if we would get 'real' tickets and not vouchers and she said yes that we would get real tickets.
they came today via a company called attraction world - anyone heard of them? and its just 2 pieces of paper, 1 for universal and 1 for disney we have to take them to the parks and they will be exchanged on the gates for 'real' tickets, is this okkay?
I am so worried this is our first time to disney and our holiday of a lifetime and i dont want it ruined by not being able to get in the parks.
Has anyone else had these vouchers with barcodes?
I did call the company that we booked through and was told that we wouldnt get real tickets because our holiday was ages away!!! basically i got fobbed off.
many thanks

I exchanged a voucher at Seaworld at the Guest Services window. i was prepared to do battle as I assumed the guy wouldnt know what I was talking about. But he never batted an eyelid, he just handed over the real tickets.

we booked ours as a package with virgin was assured we'd get tickets. in their brochure it says tickets. and we have gotten vouchers. i'm slightly miffed, wouldn't have got them from them had i known, they really should state vouchers and not tickets. :nonono: but there's enough people on here that have said they've had vouchers before, so i'm not worried. i'm sure you'll be fine.

The vouchers will be fine - if you buy them from a reputable company and/or the travel company you book your holiday with, then you can always contact them should there be any issues (which there won't be).

You exchange the vouchers for the actual tickets at the booths near the turnstiles at any of the theme parks - it is no hassle, just not quite as quick as going straight up to the turnstiles is all.

On our last trip, I booked the holiday with a different operator but bought our tickets thru Virgin. A voucher turned up which said I should exchange with my Virgin rep. I contacted them and said I wouldnt have a Virgin rep. Then I was told to take it to another hotel where they had an office, no way was I trekking around Orlando for that! Then I was told that the rep at airport would give me the tickets. I pointed out (again) that I was flying to Sanford not Orlando Int. Then I was told to just exchange them at the park! I didnt know much about vouchers then, but it would have saved a lot of emails/calls if they had just said that in the beginning!

It really is no problem getting a voucher, we exchanged our disney ones at typhoon lagoon as there was no queue at all, and even returned here when I lost our tickets (horror of horrors) 2 weeks later. Fortunately I had kept a record of which parks we had been to, and they were able to tally these up with some which had been found on a ride, and reissued with no problems at all, fantastic service!!!

have also had Flexi ticket voucherk which again caused no problem, in fact have orderedm this way again

I just wanted to quote this. I know at Universal you must have a photo ID to exchange your voucher.
