London to Melbourne via HK [Archive]

We refuel in HK - do we have to get off and then go through security again? Will our seats remain the same all the way to Melbourne?

Who you flying with, Qantas? If so, i did this flight last year, my seat remained the same, and you could leave your hand luggage on the plane. Didn't have to go through any security checks. Just get off and straight into the duty free area, all you needed was your boarding card/passport to get back on the plane.

When i flew back from Melbourne via Singapore we had to get off with our hand baggage as we had to change planes so therefore had different seats.
