Has anyone got a good site for buying tickets to shows in NY or is it better to look when i get there please?

We used Telecharge.com, they were very efficient. I would advise advanced booking for the very popular shows as you will not stand much chance of getting tickets at the TKTS booth in Times Square.
But if you are not fussy what you see then you can pick up some bargains 'on the day'.
