I'm still dithering over booking flights for san Francisco / L.A next year. for the last few weeks prices have stayed around £650/680 per adult so I thought I'd wait and see if they did a discount on the 25th , I checked again yesterday and the prices were £580 - thought maybe I'd book them today - but now they are back up to £650 - why ? what was so special about yesterday ? :confused2 has anyone booked on Christmas day - did they do the 15% discount ? and did they put the prices up before so the discount made no difference ?

prices can change by the hour depending on many things - anyone who says they understand airline fare codes and how they relate to price and time from departure is a very intelligent person :)

However, I would have thought you would be able to get a flight from UK to California for around £400 at some point. I have had economy flights for £250 before now (although I have also had to pay nearly £2k for PE in the past)
