Seeing as how much we all love New York I thought I would put my photo's up aswell, We had a fab time it was from Oct 31 to Nov 7.
We flew US airways, and stayed at The Murrayhill Suite East, 4 nights. Crowne Plaza La Guardia 2 nights and the Waldorf for one night [ just to say we have done it!!]
This was a pressie off my DH for my 51st birthday and 33rd wedding anniversary together.
Highlights
I would definitly say get a New York Greeter, you learn so much.
I finally got to see Ellis Island, coming from Liverpool wanted to see where all the immigrants went from our waterfront.

I lit a candle for John at Strawberry Fields in Central Park.
and the park gardener gave me some bulbs to plant in my garden here in Spain!

Seeing Sting live at MSG we done a tour [ I wanted to see where John went on stage with Elton] and whilst there they released a few more tickets for Sting so instead of the Broadway show, we saw him live, he was fantastic!!

Seeing Shea stadium, and mixing with all the Hispanics in Queens.
I really do love New York, thought India and Egypt where the best places I had been, but I left a piece of my heart in NY and cannot wait to go back to get it!!
Hope you like the photos, some are not too good, as DH only bought the camera four days before and was still getting used too it!

Hi, we stayed at 3, the Murrayhill suites east, Crowne Plaza La Guardia, and the Waldorf Astoria.
if anybody is ever going to New York, try the Murray hill it is so central for everything and the most reasonable priced hotel we came across.

Are you going to see Ringo in Liverpool 2008? I know he is only plugging his album but I would like to be there.

Great pics! We visited the Imagine plaque when we were there, there were no flowers or anything though, it was just bare. Did you go at a special time of year?

It was early November, it was just a man on his own putting all the flowers out, think he was just a fan.
