There has been rumors of further dates into April, which I was hoping for. Are these likely to happen?
Have a look on our Calendar link near the top of the page,
There are dates for April although Tickets are not on sale yet.

Hi, would just like to say what a great evening the Pirates and Princesses night is.
We attended one last february, was allowed into the park at 4pm, so got the benefit of the regular parades and fireworks. The park never closed till 12.30am, so we were able to do the whole park at a reduced price.
For frequent returnees its a cheap way of doing the MK.
All that apart, the fireworks and lighting are spectacular, and the parade very good. The park and cm's are themed nicely, and the night we went, after the parade, nearly all the rides were a walk on.

Hi, if you are already in the park (and have tickets for P&P) do they let you stay or are you kicked out to queue and re-enter?

They let you stay - you just have to go to one of the P&P stations giving out wristbands (you'll need to show your P&P tickets)

What do you do about under 3s. Do they need some form of id or to be on the booking?

This is probably a stupid question, but: We are planning on visiting the Magic Kingdom on 22nd Feb. We have a 14 Day Ultimate Disney Pass. Am I right is saying that we would have to pay extra to see the Disney Pirates & Princesses Party?
If thats the case would it be silly to visit the Magic Kingdom on that date if we weren't going to go to the Party?

Yes, you are right, you would have to purchase the Pirates and Princess tickets if you wish to stay in the park beyond 7pm.
You do still get a full day in the park and they do all the normal parades and fireworks.
Last year they fired Wishes at 7pm and while people were watching the show, the cm's quietly roped each entrance to the lands off, and to gain access after this you had to show your wristband. For the first hour or so after Wishes finished, cm's were discreetly checking that you had the relevant band on.
Another option is to spend the day in MK and then take the transport across to Epcot and catch Illuminations to make it a full day.
Enjoy yourselves whatever you decide to do. We all gave Pirates and Princesses a big thumbs up. :thumb:

I hope so :d:
Going to Florida 8th -18th April, my children are 8 and 11, would they enjoy princesses and pirates. Had planned on only one visit to MK this trip ( visited 3 years ago and have been to Paris too) this may be the best way to do it! Any ideas please
Sorry to post again, but would it be suitable for 1 year old babies (two in our party)?

Hi, IMO this a brilliant cheap way of doing MK. We were allowed into the park at 4pm and the park closed at 12.30am. With the exception of a few minor rides they were all running to this time.
The only doubt I would have with young children is whether they would cope with staying up till close. ;)
The August opening hours for MK are now on their site but there are no 7pm closures so does that mean no P&P party?

My DBF and I, went to the pirate and princess party last Aug. It was the best night we had in Disney.
All the rides were empty and we got to see Tinkerbell in the parade.
We are hoping to go again this Aug so fingers crossed they bring dates out soon!! :spin:

Hi all,
Just got back and we did the pirate and princess party twice,
fantastic night both times, straight on the rides, was a lovely hot
night. We had a great time collecting the booty and finding all the x's that mark the spots. The parade is great and the fireworks well what can I say - MAKE SURE U WATCH THEM FROM THE FRONT OF THE CASTLE, the first time we didnt but the second time we did and the effect was magical.
we has loads of photos done with pirates and princesses.
Its a night I wont forget and was one of the highlights of the holiday.

The dates will be on the web at some stage, they're a bit slow at updating their site. You could telephone for your tickets now though.

I have asked the question on the Theme Park forum about whether Wishes is done earlier on P&P nights, & everyone said that they don't. I am confused :confused2 !!!

I've booked for April 11th. Anyone else going on that date?
Mandy.
Haven't booked yet as I'm a bit stressed about phoning. I'm going to be away on a course next week and am worried I will miss my chance of tickets (for 11th April) should I take a deep breath and phone????

I telephoned & got booked really easily. I paid $6 for delivery, (you can opt to pick the tickets up in Florida) and received the tickets by Fedex within 4 days. :wavey:

It is really easy. I don't like phones at all, don't know why, think it is to do with the stressful job in IT that I used to have. The automated message system said that the lines were all really busy and gave me the choice to try later or hold. I decided to hold and was speaking to a person within seconds. She was very helpful and in less than 5 minutes it was all done. You just need a credit card / debit card as you have to pay in full.
The date you want is the date we're going. Can't wait!
Mandy.
My niece sent me some pics as she has just returned and had a great time at p&pp. (Changed my profile and just wanted to know how it looked.)

I sometimes get a wee bit confused. Can you buy just P&P tickets, or do you need an ordinary park ticket as well.
You only need party tickets. I have it on good advice that this allows you into the park from about 4pm on the day. If you search threads on p&pp then there is lots more info on the forum from people who have been. :d:

You will only need the P&P ticket for the evening, though apparently they start letting people in with these tickets late afternoon. If you wanted to visit for the day as well then you would also need an ordinary park ticket.

We are going in August - are there any signs yet that they will still be doing them?
Have just returned and had booked for P&PP for 11th April. It was so good that we went back again on the 16th. We went into the park just after 4 each time (walked along the red carpet) after 7 when day guests had gone the rides were really quiet and the children loved collecting their pirate treasure. We've returned with a case full of beads and jewels! The parade was great and the fireworks spectacular. Great value for money too. :d:

Excellent I am looking forward to going on Friday 2nd May with my DD. Did you dress up? :spin: :cool2:
We were there on the 11th and 16th too! On the 11th I dressed up with the kids but hardly any adults did - although lots .... accessorised. I was dressed as a pirate (Capt Jack style!) on the 11th, but simply wore the hat and bandana on the 16th. Most adults (say 98%) don't dress up - bah humbug! - but say 70% accessorise with pirate hats and tiaras.
:wavey:
Didn't dress up on 11th because it was too warm, but wore my pirate hat. 16th it was sweatshirt weather so no again. My ds dressed as a pirate and dd had a beautiful pink Minnie princess ears with crown and veil combo. On the 16th there were lots of older teenagers all dressed up in quite elaborate outfits - it was so strange to see them riding thunder mountain (which was so quiet at one point we were allowed to stay on and go round again hurray!)
