What are the ears for?

Ok I' geting the hang of this Dibbing lark!

I've sussed the smileys, got myself an avatar, and I'm up and running posting and replying.

Just wondering what the little blue Mickey ears are for in the profile, I'm guessing that since I've now got half an ear that they've got something to do with posts on the forums or something, but what does half an ear mean?

Please tell me cos if it's something good I want to brag about it to the Disney veteran sister (huddsbassbone)!

The number of ears you've got relates to how many posts you've made. As you can see I've been here a while!

Don't be afraid to ask questions on the Dibb. We were all new to this once ;)

To start a new thread, click on "the dibb" on the bar above. Then click on the relevant area eg Chat and news. It will show a tab for new thread.

Or for a "quickie" just click on the sub-forum that you want from the right-hand column once you have clicked on "todays posts" or "new posts" from the above bar

With all the typing we do, I feel we should get a certificate for earning ears! Maybe a certificate when you get 3 ears, a bottle of wine with 4 ears, champagne with 5 ears, hamper and champagne with 5 gold ears, free holiday with the next stage...

I couldn't believe how much notice I started to take of the 'ears'...why should it matter so much...it's just cool seeing them fill up? I didn't even notice them at first...but now, I'd like to get all 5 filled in before we go back...still not sure why though?!?
