Hi,

On one of our last days at WDW we are intending to stay at (or near to) MK all day. I would like a recommendation of somewhere to go for an early dinner.

We have an ADR booked for a character breakfast at Crystal Palace and are intending to stay at MK all day until Wishes! I really do not want another character meal as the Parents will get character overload! But as it is towards the end of our holiday I would like a nice sit down meal somewhere. This will also include 2 loud children (9 & 3), so nowhere too posh!

I am also looking at the restaurants in the hotels near MK (linked via the monorail).

So please DIBBERS give me some suggestions.

Many Thanks

Siddex

Ohana would be good to let the kids burn off energy.

I'd recomend Chef Mickeys for dinner, we always aim to do this for breakfast at the start of our trip and dinner at the end

Alternatively the California grill in the contemporary offers a fantastic viewing platform for the fireworks

The kids would probably love Chef Mickey's but you will have characters there. Ohana would be a good choice or maybe look at somewhere like Tony's in MK, Kona Cafe or the Grand Floridian Cafe.

Hi all,

Many thanks for the suggestions.

Last night I booked Ohana for dinner.

Am I right in thinking it can be reached by monorail from MK?

Cheers

Mark

Thats correct. It is at the Polynesian hotel so jump on the resort monorail.:)

If you like your meat you will love it here. One thing to note, if you don't think your kids will eat what is on offer, you can ask them to do a kids meal which is usually chicken strips and fries.

Just to add to Leannes post most of the timre they ask if they kids want something else so don't feel worried about asking.

Thanks for the tip.

Was worried about my Mum here as she is vegetarian. But there is a food report posted and the lady's husband was vegetarian and he was very well catered for, so that was that obstacle removed.

Now shall I ask for a table out of way or in the thick of the action???

I am also veggie and they do provide a veggie option. Looking back i would have asked for less veggies with the noodles as the noodles were lovely but too many different veg for me. So tell your mum to definately ask for it the way she would like it as they make it fresh for her anyway so its no problem.
