External Hard Drive

Having recently updated my ipod to 160 gb version. The time has now come to find somewhere else to store all of the music and photos to fill it.

I've been looking at a 500 gb external drive.

Are these easy to use. Do you upload your music onto Itunes then onto the hard drive? How do you then put the music onto the ipod? Are you better paying more for the thing, don't want to buy something cheap and nasty that loses all of my stuff.

I have one of them , all you do is use itunes or windows media player to put them all on your hard drive.

Hi, Most external drives nowadays just plug into a USB port and are automatically detected. You then just need to tel iTunes to locate its working directory on your new external drive.
