This post made me laugh as it brought back memories.


Xmas Day 2005 sun shining early am...On way to MK for day and lunch at 1900 Park Fare...FIL has trousers on but has to wear shorts on Xmas Day so quickly goes to change.....At MK having a ball working up an appetite for our Luxurious Lunch at GF.......Oh noooooo the heavens opened worse rain for fla in yrs.....the parade cancelled, everyone pours out of the park as all parks were closed now, queing to get to GF we are absolutely drenced thru to underwear, drowned rats.....arrive at GF and we all have to go and buy new clothes in their shop....omg how much did we spend!!!

So we all end up in shorts and t shirts in the GF for xmas lunch but still in good moods even the poor kids were seeing funny side and they were only 18mths and 4!! But.........we werent out of place in what we were wearing and no one batted an eyelid at our wet hair!!
