HELP,
Only going for one week. Staying onsite with free DDP.

1st night - best DTD restuarant? 1 TS credit

Where is best for Epcot before illumniations? I fancy Le Cellier, Coral Reef and Rose and Crown, which is best?

Best 2 credit restaurant? I'm thinking the Yachtsman?

Which resturant for Fantasmic MM or H+V (no BD as 2 credit)

Boma or WCC?

Where is good for MNSSHP? Would Crystal palace dinner work? Would characters be dressed up?

Where is good for Cirque (on DDP)

This is so hard, i'm on a diet at min and looking at menus is making me drool.

We're 2 adults in 20's btw

OKay here goes:

1st night - best DTD restuarant? 1 TS credit Not eaten TS there but Raglan Rd and Wolfgang Puck get good reviews.

Where is best for Epcot before illumniations? I fancy Le Cellier, Coral Reef and Rose and Crown, which is best? We loved Le cellier with Coral Reef a close second.

Best 2 credit restaurant? I'm thinking the Yachtsman? Yachstmas or Cali Grill would be my choices.

Which resturant for Fantasmic MM or H+V (no BD as 2 credit) MM

Boma or WCC? Boma

Where is good for MNSSHP? Would Crystal palace dinner work? Would characters be dressed up? Crystal Palace is always great, we did this before MVMCP.

Where is good for Cirque (on DDP) TS or CS? Earl of Sandwich is great for a quick bite as it Wolfgang Puck Express.

I would say Raglan Road for your first DTD restaurant.

Epcot one is tricky. Out of those three i personally would choose Coral Reef as we did all three of those and this was the best. But if you have never been to Le Cellier you may want to give it a try. Rose and Crown has the advantage of the best view for Illuminations though. But on food alone i would choose Coral Reef.

Most definately our best 2 credit meal was California Grill. Fantastic. But the Yachtsmans was also great. I don't think you would be disappointed with either.

I would choose Hollywood and Vine over Mama Melrose purely on reviews. But to be honest H and V dinner was just ok. We prefer the character lunch.

Didn't make it to Boma unfortunately but WCC was good. But if we could i would like to try Boma in December so i would pick that.

Only certain restaurants are open during MNSSHP. I think Crystal Palace is but closes early. Not sure if the characters are dressed up but they are at Liberty Tree Tavern.

Hope that helps a bit.

Ooo forgot about Cirque. I would say Wolfgang Puck or as Treacle said Wolfgang Puck Express. They have seating but you would be using a counter service credit. Excellent food, and great value for a counter service.

I had a nice enough meal in le Cellier but sorry I cannot reccommend the Rose and Crown .. my prawn cocktail was dry and I think my steak came from the sole of a boot :erm: service was terrible .. we were the last ones out of the park :nonono: and as for the view of illuminations we almost had people sat on our laps while trying to eat deserts!

that said DD has allergies and the chef that deals with that was fantastic ..her meal was lovely so go figure! some of our party enjoyed their meals and some didn't so I guess they are better at some dishes than others .. but I wouldn't take the chance again ..

We have the same dilema in August when we have the DDP for nine nights. At the moment we are thinking of doing 3 of the signature restaurants......California Grill, Yachtsmans, and Artists Point. Also Le Cellier, Boma, and The Coral Reef.
There are so many to choose from this could change :)

I don't want to use up all our ts credits as we're on a bit of a budget and also not driving but I do want to do 1 signature for the experience.
I prefer the menu fir the yachtsman to the cali and I know that dbf defo will.
I fancy Coral reef too but also le cellier, really difficult as only really have time for one unless I get rid of Boma.....

Hi Mitch, we loved both Le cellier and coral reef. If i had to choose it would be Le celleir. We did CP when we went to MNSSHP, we enjoyed it but no the characters are not dressed up and we will be going to LT this year if we do the parade again. We will def be doing Boma this year and we prob will do the Yatchsman although i fancy Cali grill. We hated HV it really was out worst meal and i would not go there again. Let us know what you choose :wavey:

As much as I love Boma, I'd get rid of it and do Le Cellier and Coral Reef usuing TS instead as they are superior restaurants and are sit down rather then a buffet as Boma is.
