Getting a strange message when I open up desktop

Hello all,

For the past couple of weeks I have been getting an error box when I start up it says:

dsca.exe
common language Runtime Debigging Services
application has generated exception
that could not be handled
Process id Oxa98(2712) Thread id Oxa9c(2716)
Click ok to terminate
Cancel to debug then the next box says:

Registered JIT de****** not available
please check computer settings.

Please does anyone have any ideas, it never used to do this?

I had a similar error message some months ago following a replacement of the motherboard and failures in re-installing Windows. In the end I got so fed up, I replaced the hard drive :tounge: :erm:

Not much help I know, but I can sympathise with your frustration. Just a thought tho' have you tried running "System Restore" (assuming you are using a PC :confused2 ) to put the machine back to a time when all was okay?

Hi Armanaleg,

Think it could have started when I installed Microsoft Office Home and Student!! I`ll try system restore to just before that went on. Thanks, it is a pain but am confused at to what it actually means.
