Hi,
We have been receiving quite a few emails from members using AOL that say they are locked out of the DIBB or are having problems changing their passwords or are not receiving DIBB Emails, etc.

This is nothing to do with the DIBB, this is a fault with the AOL system and I urge you to complain to AOL suppport.

The AOL Browser is probably the worse browser available for todays Internet, it is based on older technologies and struggles with a lot of sites. I believe AOL have plans to scrap it in the future, but not sure exactly when.

Anyhow, if you minimise the AOL browser and use Internet Explorer or Firefox or for that matter any browser other than AOL, you should find everything working ok.

If you do still have problems then please clear your temporary internet files and cookies, close all browsers then try again, remember if you clear cookies you will need to login to the DIBB again (please tick the "Remember Me" box when you do).

Regards
Stu

I use aol too, i have found the easiest solution is to just use IE for everything with aol set as the homepage for easy email access.

I got 'locked out' yesterday when using the AOL account to access the Dibb. I read something the other day that AOL have dropped Netscape Navigator wef 1st Feb this year and will "urge users to adopt Firefox". I will certainly be switching as I use it with work and rarely has a problem.

Hello I am an AOL user and have been for years, I must be one of the lucky ones I never have any problems with this or any other web sites that I use. :wavey: :wavey:

This was my situation.....until yesterday :(

Strangely, it is only the Dibb that this problem has happened with.

I'm on AOL but I always use IE as I just don't like browsing on it. I just don't find it user friendly.

I don't understand what has happened, but 'the problem' has corrected itself and I can access the Dibb again via AOL!

Hi y'all.

We've been using aol for 10 years now and very rarely have any bother at all. Customer services take you through any difficulties very quickly.

Cheers, Dave.
