Has anyone been to the Islands Breakfast Buffet at the Islands Dining Room at RPR ?
We are thinking of eating there when we stay but can't seem to find out what is available on the buffet.

Thanks in advance.

The breakfast buffet is so yummy, one of our favourites. The usual breakfast fare with loads of fruit, yogurts etc. great value for money IMO.

My favourite breakfast place out of 6 visits and several other places tried.
You present yourself at the entrance and are shown to your table - the server then shows you the a la carte breakfast menu (if you want something specific) and advises you about the breakfast buffet - think it's around $13.99 per person, this includes as much OJ and tea/coffee as you can drink.

Then you can go to the area and have a nosy - there is fruit, yoghurts, cereals, pastries and muffins. Bagels with cream cheese and bread, plus a toaster if you want to use that.
The hot food is oatmeal (porridge) scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, sautéd potatoes, biscuits with mini burgers in. Waffles.

There is also an omelette station where the chef cooks them as you queue, any three fillings you want.

Absolutely yummy and they will even give you a hot drink to go :thumbs-up

it was one of our most enjoyable meals, and were not normally keen on buffets.there was probably everything you can imagine, from smoked salmon, fresh strawberries, melon, mango, papya etc.sausage, bacon, eggs freshly cooked to order, the omletts are to die for, they have the usual floridian fayre, buiscuits and gravyegross).loads of pastries, all top quality stuff.service was excellent.most of the things on the a la carte menu can be found on the buffet,so its not worth the extra expense,to order from the menu.loads of tropical juices, cofee etc. we will definatly be going again.it was also serving breakfast till 11,which was good because we had a lie in that day.didnt eat again untill the evening. mo.

We are not usually breakfast eaters, so usually just grab a bite at the Orchid Lounge, although i believe the Breakfast at the Islands is very good.
I can recommend it for Dinner as we have ate there quite a few times.
