Dowloading problems with Zonealarm

A friend of mine has just got an internet connection with Tiscali. She's never had the internet before. Her computer is an old one with Windows 98.

I sent her the links to free AVG, which was successfully installed, I believe, and also to the page to download free ZoneAlarm. However, she is getting the error message page, even when she tries to get to the main ZoneAlarm page. She can look at other web pages, and indeed was looking into holidays. :smile:

I said I would ask here if anyone had any ideas as to why this might be happening.

I know ZoneAlarm is good but is there another free firewall site that she could use, in case we can't get ZoneAlarm fixed?

The trouble is most of the firewalls don't appear to support Windows 98 these days and that includes Zone Alarm, they all seem to concentrate on XP an Vista.

I don't know anything about it because I haven't used a Windows firewall for years.
