it all looks good to me. usually the advice is to start off slowly on the first day with one of the smaller , gentler parks...animal kingdom or seaworld..its advice we tend to follow. you will be awake really early on your 1st day but you will also tire quickly.
are you not considering Busch gardens or universal?

I'm just not sure if we will manage everything! First time and I'm sure it will be a shock to the system. Cant wait though!!!

Looks good ! Have you thought about ADR's for where you want to eat in those parks ? Maybe a Fantasmic package ?

Yes carys, would love to do ADR'S and Fantasmic package but thought I'd work out where we will be first! Hoping to stay in those parks for the day so dont want to stray. Any suggestions for meals.
Would like CRT and Chef mickeys oh and rainforest. Does Fantasmic show every night?

Fantasmic is usually every night i think . We always use Hollywood and vine for that. At MGM we liked sci fi for the atmosphere but fod just ok. We loved Prime time that was fun. At Mk w enjoyed CRT and that can be tricky to get so you definately have to book that on time ! Liberty tree Tavern is our favourite for diner in MK. At AK we like RF but had a rubbish meal last year so i am thinking of Yak and Yeti . Epcot has some great restaurants and we enjoyed Le Cellier there. We have had dinner at chef Mickeys, Whispering canyon and CP aswell and they are good .But prefered Whispering Canyon. We have had breakfast at Ohanas and CP both good again. I think we may try Coral Reef at Epcot this year and we had dinner at the Rose and Crown last year and thanks to Princess Jilly on here we had a fabulous table to watch illuminations.

There is a restaurant section on here with reviews which is very helpful. At seaworld we like the sharks underwater grill so you can watch the sharks in the tanks as you eat. But you have to go straight to the desk outside it at 10 am on the day to book a table.

It all looks great to me.
As advised before i would tend to go to a quiter park like animal kingdom or seaworld on the first day. Make the most of waking early as Animal Kingdom tends to close earlier than other parks.
With an 8 year old girl i do not think you can go wrong with Cinderellas royal table. Beware though and book early as this one goes very quickly.

are you planning on going to magic kingdom on the same day as you arrive ?

marissa

well I thought as we arrive that afternoon,We could stroll through Magic kingdom in time to see fireworks which I feel the kids would love on their first night! Doyou think that sounds ok?
I'm not expecting to go on many rides just soak disney atmosphere in!

It Does Sound Like A Good Idea But After the Journey There Everyone Is Tired lol & For The Children It could Be A Bit Much After a 12hour Flight .... If Your hiring A Car There Or Staying In A Disney Hotel I Would Give It A Shot As The Kids Can Sleep In Car On The Way To The Park Or They Can Have A Quick Catch Up Nap When They Arrive At The Hotel Before Shooting Off To The Park As The Transport Can Take You There Whenever. x
