I've seen a few photos of mashed potatoes. do they use real spuds or are they instant mash? :cool2:

All the meals we had the other year in Disney were real spuds, I hate instant mash and would've sent it back.

I had a few meals with mashed potatoes and it all tasted real to me. I do not like instant mash.

we had mash at most buffets, it was gorgeous, and real, red skins included....but also tasted of garlic...lovely

I'm actually not a huge fan of mashed potatoes - except in the States. I absolutely love their garlic mashed potatoes and most places do them. Like JennieakaMary says, they use red potatoes and you get little bits of them in it. Gorgeous :d: They are scrumptious with a nice juicy steak :thumbs-up

definatly real potatoes,they always had their skins in them in disney restaurants.

any mashed potatoes i had were the real deal, usually with the skins still on them, they are fab

Any mash I had in WDW was real mash, the garlic one at CP was especially wonderful! :)
They do fabulous mashed potatoes at the Yachtsman Steakhouse - the horseradish one is superb.

for the first time in 10 visits i eat mash in florida this year .... i hate instant stuff and it was all you used to get... saying that we eat in some nice places this year as we had ddp and planned the meals much better.
dh loves the green mash in foltons (Wasabi Whipped Potatoes ) and the red mash and bacon mash and the garlic mash..
infact for tea tonight we has sweet pot mash, bacon mash, red pots mash and plain mash just small qualities of each on the table ....the kids think weve gone mad. :tounge:
Dh had probems with making Wasabi mash.. it doesnt go green but tastes really strong of japannes horseradish. but he keeps trying!! ;) bless him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :d: :d: :d:
