If you are running xp you could just restore to an earlier date and then download again but unclick when it asks if you want the toolbar.
Or if you know what you are looking for you could go into the control panel and remove it in there.

how do i go back, im a bit thick ! LOL
If it is a " new " toolbar, just go to view - toolbars- and untick it and it will close.
Or if its a button on a toolbar like Google , go to settings and untick the button

Go to Start - Settings - Control Panel. Open Add/Remove programmes.
When this has launched (takes a while) scroll down until you find the toolbar you have installed then press on the change/remove buton to uninstall.
