We've always had a lovely meal at Teppanyaki (don't know what it's called now, it used to be that). Very nice and relaxed, lovely food, great showmanship!!

Raglan Road is a must for us, we went for the first time last year and we will be going again this year. It was a beautiful meal. We had lunch reservations and it was lovely and quiet the servers were brilliant.

I agree, we had a fantastic meal there - it's called Teppen Edo now.
How about the Yachtsman Steakhouse? we had an excellent meal there in December.

thanks guys, yachtmans sounds good, and raglan rd, walked passed there a few times but haven't tried it yet, our DS did it 2 years ago and loved it, may give it a go this.
any other ideas anyone?
Dave, I've listed below some of my 'favourites' :)
Grand Floridian Cafe. Had fantastic meals last May and another fantastic meal in December. Very pretty cafe, good service and food.
Another one I really liked was Raglan Road, fantastic! Only went for lunch but the food was very tasty.
Have you tried Blue Zoo at the Dolphin? I love that place too! The restaurant is quite 'hip' but not OTT, and the food, OMG, the food is wonderful. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. I didn't find it any more pricey than Narcoosees and the food at Blue Zoo is far superior.
Artist Point - had an amazing meal last May and am going to return on my next trip. Food was gorgeous, service fantastic and generally a very nice dining experience in a nice relaxing setting.

wow that looks really tasty, thanks again clare, we 've just been looking at the menu at blue zoo, think we have made our minds up that we will pay it a visit, think it will be so different as its just us two, instead of the whole family. really looking forward to it, we both love nice meals in nice locations.
