When doing your own booking /flight /villa etc how would you book a Disney hotel. Would you book it direct. So say if you wanted a villa for 7 days and to spend 7 days on site how would you go a bout it. :confused2

I've always booked our Disney Hotel direct through their website with no problems at all. Easy to do, or you could phone them direct.

You can also book through accommodation only providers for the Disney hotel...these not usually much savings to make though as Disney keep prices tightly controlled.
You could however look at ;Travel Republic (use promotion code "getsomesun") Roomsnet.com, Findmeaccom.com - worth a look for comparisons.

Twice I called Disney in the USA (CRO - Central Reservations Office) and once I used Val (Cinders Mum)
If you book with CRO or Val, then if discounts are released closer to the time you can get them applied to your booking, if you book through a 3rd party I don't think you can.
I booked 7 nights in POFQ with BAHolidays and a week in a villa booked direct with the owner.

I think that is correct....... but it can also work against you - if you are booking far in advance, then if the hotel rates haven't been released then Disney will charge you any increases it makes, where as if you book through a third party then they don't....so I guess it depend show far ahead you are looking..... and whether you are going at a time of year when Disney are likely to offer discounts (ie such as value season ). :)
Well.....least I think that is right :confused2

I booked my hotel for Sept 08 along with tickets and DDP with Val.
I haven't booked my flights yet, just waiting for prices to come down a bit

I've never booked so far ahead that Disney's rates haven't yet been released, so I don't know about that. However, I have benefitted from Discount Codes being released prior to my stay twice.

Hi
I booked my disney hotel through Attraction Tickets Direct and it was cheaper than direct through Disney.
