What site is the best to book the Gatwick Hilton through?
I have tried through VH but they don’t have a family room available for our chosen date.
We only need one night, family room for four without parking.
We usually have Hilton points and book direct but my DH hasn’t been staying in Hilton hotels lately so no points.:(

Try the Sofitel - maybe they will have your dates - they were cheaper for us than the Hilton last time...
HolidayExtras is another option x

I used them last year for my hotel at manchester airport, with parking at the crown plaza and it was approximately £180 for two rooms connecting and 14 days car parking could not fault them, confirmed via email and took that with us and no problem
we got our family room at hilton booked through fhr it cost £123
We always use holidayextras for the Hilton. Last time got family room and 2 weeks parking for around £170. :thumbs-up

We haven't used them - VH gave me a better deal on the Sofitel and we had 2 HUGE corner rooms (the family room!) with an adjoining door so we were delighted :thumbs-up
I know lots of people have used them though - they are a reputable company :thumbs-up

Thanks everyone I think I will go ahead and book it!:)
I know what you mean Teresa, We didn’t rate the Hilton much either.
It is really convenient though, especially with kids.
The Sofitel does look lovely and nicer than the Hilton. I can’t seem to get it cheaper though.
Where is the Sofitel in relation to the Hilton, can you walk from there into the airport?
Have you tried

I always find them reasonable and very good service indeed, If you want to be on airport and the Hilton is booked - try the sofitel (Northe terminal)

Sorry to jump on this thread, but can you get back into your car the following morning if you stay at the hilton? I wouldn't want to have to carry all the baby stuff with us?

Not unless you pay for parking in one of the terminal carparks for the 1st night and then move the car to long term parking the next morning before you go. Could you make up a disposable baby kit and just dump everything? Won't you need the baby stuff on the flight anyway?

We have managed to book the Hilton using our Tesco clubcard vouchers and also we have booked into the short stay carpark next door for £108. I know that we could have got cheaper but you cant beat convenience!

The Sofitel adjoins the North Terminal and is only minutes away from the South Terminal by the monorail :thumbs-up
Thanks Source, will bear the Sofitel in mind then.
