Do disney do 2 adults, 3 kids in any hotel? I feel really nasty on my cousin who is 6, he has ADHD and we are taking my boyfriends nieces with us, but i feel that i should take him too. He is like my nephew, his mam and me are like sisters, i lived with her til i was 14.
I know that he gets to go places all the time, and the girls never go anywere but i feel sad for him, i do so much for the girls and hardly anything for him.
he is sooo hypo etc, he listens to my DBF so i feel i cant do so much for him. :nonono:
i havent even said about taking the girls as i feel soo bad, i have checked the pop to see if i can add him on and its a case of 2 rooms, an extra £1000.
please someone help me :(
P.s - cant they stick a rollabed in the room ?

I think most rooms allow 5 and they will supply a rollaway bed! Some hotels charge about $25 a night for the bed, but i'm not sure if Disney do! Depending on the age/size of the kids it could be a very tight squeeze as the rooms aren't massive and a rollaway would only really be suitable for a smaller child!

As the hotel's booked through a TA i don't really know what you can do! If it was booked directly through Disney i don't think it would be a problem, but as you've booked through Virgin i don't know how you'd go about sorting it!

the cabins at fort wilderness resort sleep 6 and i think some of the disney family suites do to may need to book them seperately or over the phone i know some of the all stars now have suites

we stayed at port orleans riverside last year, and i am almost certain that they were advertising some of their rooms with two queens size beds, with one of the beds having a rollaway allowing 5 in the room.
no idea on costs i'm afraid, sorry,
Have you checked with Andre, he's doing a website on POR, may be something on there.
good luck
5 people are not allowed in a room at POP, Port Orleans Riverside have rooms that sleep 5 if the 5th person is a child.

We have taken an extra child at short notice and just booked them a flight, when we had a package booked. We contacted CBR and requested a rollaway bed. We took this option because the travel company said we could not have a 5th person in the room.....it was a tight squeeze!

I've just done a dummy booking on the WDW website and it states on there they do not allow 5 people in Pop rooms! It says some of the Resorts allow rollaway beds, but not the Value Resorts! Sorry!

Do Virgin offer the All Star Suites? I'm sure it wouldn't cost that much more and you'd have a bit more room!
Disney's Value and Moderate resorts normally only sleep four as standard, except for Port Orleans Riverside's Alligator Bayou section. The rooms there all feature an extra trundle bed for a fifth occupant and would suit your needs fine, even if you do find yourselves falling over each other a bit. :) You could try requesting an extra fold-away bed in other Moderates too, but when folded up they do take up quite a bit of extra space as opposed to the trundle style which just hide away under an existing bed.
Can you switch your booking to POR, which as I said does sleep five officially, so at the worst case you could book a separate flight ticket as has been discussed here.
Most of the Disney deluxe hotels can easily accommodate five as they have a 'day bed' included. Disney do charge extra for a third or fourth adult in a room, but not for a child so you'd be fine with 2 adults and 3 kids. Other options include the All Star Suites and the Fort Wilderness cabins.

YAY! did a search for the POR and it does allow 5, its £600 more for him but i think my auntie will pay that x
Off to ring her now x
Thanks
Does that £600 cover his flight and the hotel upgrade costs for a fortnight? If so, that doesn't seem too bad. Shame it's already booked as you could probably save a lot by booking the flights and the room seperately.

can you not just book him a flight then put all 3 off them top and tail in the double and not even tell the hotel, if that doesnt work then nip to wal-mart and put him on a lilo im sure at his age he wouldnt mind anyway.
Good luck.
An offsite villa (IMO) would be a better option; at least that way you'd have more space and be able to chill out after you'd got the kids into bed.

you could suggest to them that you'd organise your own extra bed and take a readybed, they fold up really small and you could squeeze one in if it was gonna save the hassle.
i don't understand how they could expect you to book an extra room as there has to be an adult in that one and obviously there wouldn't be... or.... you could check in and when they ask you could say he is with someone else

I don't know your nephew, but if he has ADHD then will 5 of you in a small room be a little cramped? Just a thought?

I thought that Bev, I found 2 ad 2 kids a bit too tight for 9 nights but obviously it's a personnal decision.

we stayed at pop just me and BF in June and we found it too cramped we also missed not having any kitchen facilities, i couldnt imagine staying in a room with 3 kids especially if one has ADHD as lack of space may get to him.
Could you maybe change to a condo or a villa, we have booked a 4 star 2 bed 2 bath condo for 11 night for only £311 in April.
Hope you get sorted.

I can't see where or how you would be able to fit a rollaway bed in Pop anyway even if they did allow it.

diesel staff, do you know about the guest assisted pass u could get for him??? you may require a doctors letter confirming his diagnosis, then u show it at guest relations at disney and uni then u get a pass for your party, at uni its similar to fast pass except u use as many times as want, at no charge to you. at disney they often let u in the fastpass line, tho its not for that use only, often the staff at disney are busy so if u have apass they send all of u in fastpass line,,,,,we used it for middle bond worth its weight in gold,,,, bondy

hi, we have asked his parents and they dont think he would cope going there at the moment, especially without them. They will be taking him next year themselves as they can deal with his 'special condition' better than we could.
BONDY LAD - hi yes i know of these passes, my grandfather had a stroke and we use to go all the time to florida when he was still alive (we lived with him). They are very useful, and helped us alot when it was scorching and he couldnt wait outside for very long. Thank you for the suggestion tho x
