I am sure there will be someone out there who can help with this question.

As you can see from my siggy below this year we are planning a split resort holiday. 5 nights at Pop, 7 nights at POR and 2 nights at AKL, all booked through WDW Travel Company.

We want to add on the DDP, and are prepared to purchase our tickets from WDW Travel as well so that we can get this.

Our dilemma is that as we are moving resorts, we have 3 different bookings. We thought we could add the DDP onto all 3 bookings and purchase the 14 day ultimate tickets and that would be it - job done!

However, when I rang tonight, the CM wasn't the best :confused2 but did add the DDP and 14 day tickets to the first booking. She then said we could not add the DDP onto the 2nd booking unless we purchased more tickets :omg: Not something we want to do.

After reading a couple of things it would appear that you only have to purchase 1 day's worth of park tickets to qualify for your full stay of DDP, so we came up with a plan ;)

Is it be possible to purchase DDP for 3 people and 1 x 14 day ticket on each booking??

Or, do you have to purchase 1 day's worth of park tickets per person per booking, plus DDP for all of us?

I have to say it isn't clear from the website, as it says that DDP has to be selected for all members of the party, nothing about park tickets for everyone.

Or is there any other way round this?

Can anyone help Please?????????

My understanding is that you have to book the DDP and tickets for EACH person on the booking. So i don't think your plan will work unfortunately.:(

I agree with Leanne as well, a cunning plan though LOL. Do you really want DDP for your whole stay? We had it last year for 14 nights and got a bit fed up of it although we have the same this year as it's free we won't be again.

We were thinking of that as a back-up plan  .

Perhaps using the DDP at our 7 night stay at POR was our thoughts, as we don't really want to change our bookings to stay in one resort, we really wanted to try different ones this time.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. ;)

Not sure if there is an issue with your 3 resort stay either - if you move resorts and are on the DDP for each resort - your DDP credits are applied for EACH resort eg. we do 7 nights at the Poly and 7 at the Yacht Club - on free DDP. but we will have to use all the Poly credits before midnight on the day we check out of there, then the YC credits can start.
Makes a minefield out of juggling your x1 and x2 TS credits, so you are not running out one week!!

As a follow up question? :tounge:

If we only go for the DDP for our 7 night stay at POR, and obviously put the 14 day ultimate park tickets on that booking as well, are we still able to activate the tickets while we are staying at Pop? Or would the 14 days only be able to start at the commencement of the POR booking?

Sorry if I seem a bit thick regarding this. We have been to WDW numerous time, but never looked at DDP before, and all the rules etc surrounding it.

I am not 100% sure but i imagine it would be tied into your booking at POR.
It certainly wouldn't hurt to ask though.
