Hi all,
has anybody stayed at the Holiday Inn on international drive :erm: ? We go in a few weeks and I've looked at the reviews on here and on some other websites and they all seem to be quite old reviews. Anyone been there lately? Its had a few dodgy & a few good ones so don't know if we should be worried or not :confused2 .
Cheers :mickeybou

We stayed there in November 04 and again last year.

Personally we felt nothing had been touched since we went back in 2004 but saying that we would stay again! The staff are hepful, the hotel has free transport to non disney parks and its only $2 return to disney!
The rooms are spacious but dated - email the hotel now and request a room in the resort block, yes the rooms are slightly smaller (still 2 double beds etc) but as they aren't in ablock they are lighter so feel nicer..

Just my opinion - you will have a fab time - don't worry!

Sorry but as on another post today, i said the rooms were old and dated and the tower blocks were unsafe for small children, try get a room by the pool, to the left of reception, much safer than the tower block.

I went in 1986. Needless to say I don't recall any specifics really now and it may have changed a tad since then too. (Or maybe not from what people are saying above!)

Hi there I have stayed there on 2 occasions one in 2003 and one in 2005, we stayed both times in the tower blocks. IMO I felt safe in the tower blocks, one room we stayed in was great it had 2 great windows and was a room near the laundry. The second time was a corner room and only had one window, and was a tad dark compared to the other room.

It is in a good location really near the fun spot. there are loads of good eateries and it is within walking distance to W n W plus US and IOA if you fancied it or its baout $4 in a taxi, although the free transport helps

I prefer the tower - rooms are much bigger and I felt safe in there. We've stayed twice with our little ds - both times in the tower. They were landscaping the tower when we were there in October.
