I have posted this thread to find out if anyone knows if this restaurant has closed for good or just for refurb? I rang the crazy golf next door but got no sense at all ( which I totally expected but thougth it worth a try)

so if anyone is going soon and will be passing on the 192 and can find out I would appreciate it ..

I have been several times a trip over the last 12 years and will be sad if its gone for good :cry:

I did hear it had closed down Shelly, but am not sure how true this is. We never ate here as we`d heard a few good reviews, but also an awful lot of bad ones.

wow I have never had a 'bad' meal there and I have had loads, maybe the odd not so good but never bad .. I really hope it is only closed for a refurb .. they are so very good with DDs allergies.. unlike lots of other offsite restaurants

and it aint everywhere you can get a side of snowcrab in a non fish restaurant

It was me who put the original thread a couple of weeks ago about Magic Mining closing..... :cry:

We were staying at the Best Western Lakeside, which is next-door, over Christmas and it was definitely closed. We headed there on our first night as we'd had good meals there in the past and were really disappointed to see it was closed!!

We walked/drove past there most days and there was never any sign of activity, either during the day or night.....!?!??!!? :erm: Like I said earlier, there were t-shirts hanging up inside & hanging on the inside windows, which made us think someone was turning it into some sort of shop; perhaps temporarily!?!

It may well open again! I really hope so. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

If anyone knows different or is there at the moment, then I'd love to know.

We have just had our quarterly newsletter from our local Management Company in Kissimmee and they have confirmed that Magic Mining Company has closed for good. Sorry Shelley and all those who loved it.

No news yet as to what will happen on the site but it's prime real estate so no doubt something will spring up in it's place soon enough.

I wonder where James, Pek and the other staff have gone :( I will miss having a fillet mignon with a cluster of crab legs :cry: I don't know of any other none fish restaurants that do crab
