Broadband keeps diconnecting

My pc keeps disconnecting from Broadband, which used to stay on all the time.

Also, whenever I open Outlook Express for email, it dials up (even when there is a connection).

Before I get a man in, does anyone have a quick fix, or any clues as to what might be the problem? I'm with Orange - so it could just be their service, or do you think it could be the modem?

I can usually re-connect straight away, but it's getting to be a nuisance.

go to network settings and check never dial a connection, that should stop that annoying dial up pop up
