Hey all

Just got back yesterday and went on this ride on our first day there and our last day. I laughed at my partner wanting to go on it thinking it was a kiddie ride and it's for small children.

Boy was I wrong. It's a really really good ride. Nothing like I was expecting at all and quite scary in places at the speed and height you go and the drops!!

Anyone else thought this or is it just me?

The Nemo ride in Florida is not the same as Crush's coaster. I am looking forward to this one.

By any chance Minniemoo, do you have a park map that you could have a look at the height restriction for it please.:o:

Yep it's 1.07m

Be prepared though - I'm 29 years old and I screamed most of the way round!! It spins, drops, sharp turns, speed but all great fun and it was the most popular ride at the park - queues at the weekend were over an hour long at all times. When we went on it yesterday we got to the park for 9:30am - 30 mins before opening and ran straight to it and got on the ride at 10:20am. The queue was sooooooooooo long. But you'll enjoy it.

Thank you very much.:thumbs-up Thats good we can all go on it. My boys are proper little dare devils. My 7 year old went on the Mummy when he was 6 and loved it! He has also been on Dragons Fury at Chessington which i believe is a similar sort of ride.

Can't wait to try it. I had heard the queues were a nightmare but hopefully we will be able to get on if we make a dash for it!!:spin:

Thanks for your help.

If you're going during the week it was quite quiet then to get on it - max wait was about 30 mins I think. But there is no fast pass for this ride which may be why it's so busy. You sit in turtle shells of 4 - 2 going forward and 2 facing backwards.

Oh thats good then. We are going Mon-Fri. We have previously been there on the weekend and it gets so crowded doesn't it!:omg:

Really excited, can't wait to get there!!:spin:

The thing that surprised me (and annoyed me the most) was that a lot of the rides break down a lot in DLP compared to Florida. The only ride that didn't while we were there for 4 days was TOT - every other ride had a fault at some point. It was such a pain to queue for so long to get right near the front and it has a "technical fault". :mad2:

And the service is so slow at the restaurants/food outlets etc. The staff and shops within Disney couldn'd do enough to help you but the food people were so so so slow and usually took 2 people to serve one person. :nonono:

Miss Minnie Moo ....we also thought it was fab....the theming is great isn't it? :o: Just over too quickly .... :(

Leanne .... for this one hun be prepared to run to be first in line .... not something we'd normally do but after trying for a few days with huge October half term queues and then cold & rain just for it to go tech we were determined to go on it even if we had to sprint as soon as the park opened....good job we did as we were in the dry when the heavens opened and when we got to the turnstyle you guessed it ...it went tech.....I said I'm going nowhere ....didn't care how long we waited so about 20 mins later we finally got to enjoy our ride :D

I loved it. It was my favourite ride in both parks! DH thought the same. The queues were massive for it though even though we went at a quiet time.

Depending which way you face when you get in the ride, you could end up dropping going backwards which is quite scary as it's dark. I can't remember which way you face when you get on which drops backwards but i think it's if you sit facing backwards to start with. I like the big climb up to this drop whichever way you're facing as you see it coming if you're facing forwards and end up looking down on the big climb if facing backwards but it's great fun. From memory it climbs it very quickly too which is unusual as I felt i was shooting up a hill fast.

i don't think it was as big a drop as jurassic. It's not so much that it's a drop it's that it's unexpected and in the dark so you don't see it coming at all.
