Green Soldiers?

Hi all

After telling dbf about seeing the green soldiers from Toy Story in a parade in MGM he is deperate to know if they still take part?? Or even if they are in Disney at all?!? :confused2

Any help would be appreciated :thumbs-up

We last went in November 2006 and the green soldiers were in the parade at MGM and also for photos etc by Als Toy Barn at MGM.

Not ever so recent info - sorry !

They were still in the parade in april 2007.

When we were there in 04 they were in the car parks 'welcoming' people to the park!

The green army men are currently still currently in the stars and motor cars parade BUT they may not be later this year as i believe the studios will be getting a version of the block party bash parade(currently in Anaheim) later this year :)

They were there in May '07, both kids had their photos taken with them. They were great with all the kids we saw! :spin:

They are in the Stars and Cars parade at Disney Studios, but that is due to change to a new parade soon. If they are not in the new parade I'm sure you'll still be able to see them in the park.

Toy Story is in the block party bash and from memory I think there were green men

Last year, we saw green soldiers MGM and they were available for photos and autographs etc. They were near Pizza Planet restaurant.

As mentioned above not sure about the parade as it will be a
new one.

good news for all you Green Army Men fans! Block Party Bash features them very heavily!

If you havn't seen it, then Block Party Bash isn't so much a parade, but a street show. The floats travel to designated 'Party Zones' and stop for about 10 minutes. The Green Army Men act as the MCs (they talk with microphones) trying to get 'new recruits' involved and get everyone dancing with the performers!

The new parade starts mid march. And they are still at Als Toy Barn near the muppets shop. However once Pixar Place opens i'm sure you will find them there too!

I saw them near the exit to muppet vision 3D in the summer, along with Buzz, Woody and Mr Potato head.

Yes they are,we have to stand and watch them every year and that is for my DH

When we were there in Aug my little sister got her photo taken with them at Als Toy Barn in MGM and they were in the stars & motor cars parade however that parade is changing so I'm not sure if they will still be in it.

Yeah i just want to add the interaction from the green army men is brilliant :D

We were videoing the kdis and taking pictures when we didnt notice one right behind my brother in law looking into the camera with him, over his shoulder.

They also sneaked up on the kids etc, great fun.

Go see them and get their autograph too.

One was sitting on a bench very still, my 2 ds thought he was'nt real so sat with him to have there picture taken, then he moved and put his arm around both of them, you should have seen their faces it was excellent...very funny ;)
