Preferred parking

Has anyone used this at either Universal or Disney and is it really worth ? Especially Universal - do you still have to go along the moving walkway to get in or is there a quicker way with the preferred parking/

Asked to prefer park at MGM and they said they didn't do it. Prefered parked at busch gardens, it was $15 regular parking $9. Would do it again. :thumbs-up

we did it at universal and yes you do still have to go along the travelator. Didn't use normal parking so I cannot comment as to whether it really is 'preferred'!

think the prefered parking at universal you do have to do the long walk, but not as long as if you didnt do the prefered parking.
we will be doing the prefered parking at all the parks when we go back as it is only a few dollars more.

Again, used preferred parking at Universal. You park next to the disabled parking, still a way to walk on those blasted travelators, but not as far as the regular parking.

Would use it again, for a few dollars more.

We used it both times we went to Universal as we tended to get there quite late, and it was peak season. So we definately felt the benefit of $5 extra!
