Hi Ladies & Gentleman

It’s not long until me and my family head off to Orlando now. After all the advice I have received on the DIBB, I have drawn together a rough itinerary; it would be much appreciated if you would let me know your thoughts positive or negative. One of my main concerns is that I am either putting too much into one day or not enough, for example a friend of mine suggested that we needed two days at Epcot. There are some free days left to play around with, however I think we are planning on driving down to the beach on one day, and there is also a matter of shopping!

One quick query: people talk about MGM Studios, however on the WDW website they refer to Hollywood Studios…….is this a case of two names for the same place?

How about swapping Epcot with AK so you can decide for yourselves whether you need 2 days.

The studios were renamed :)

Also how bout putting TL earlier so if weather bad you could shop that day and try and fit it in later

Thanks for letting me know about the studios being renamed. I will take your advice on board about Epcot and Typhoon Lagoon also.

where is the NHL game?
If its in Orlando - you might be hard pushed to fit in a good day at BG and the drive back to be in time for the game.

The NHL game is in Tampa Bay, so it makes sense to do Busch Garden in the day, and then move onto the Ice Hockey, does anybody know how far it is from Busch Gardens to the St. Pete Times Arena?

Maybe squeeze Blizzard Beach in too. If you've got an Ultimate Ticket it's gonna be a nice cheap day. parking is free, all you'll need to buy is a refill cup! ;)

:wavey: Hi

Just wanted to mention Presidents Day - don't know if you knew about it? It's a public holiday, Monday 18th Feb - general advice is to avoid the parks over that weekend - we've been at that time before and it is considerably busier.
As you can see by my countdown we'll be there at the same time - although my DH - in his wisdom :erm: - has planned Busch Gardens for us :confused2

We can't go Blizzard Beach as its closed for refurbishment whilst we are in Orlando. Thanks for letting me know about Presidents Day, we haven't really got a choice but to go Busch Gardens because thats the day I am going to see the Ice Hockey in Tampa, we will just have to except thats its going to be busy. I have revamped our Itinerary a little after doing some more investigation into the parks, the reason we are going Epcot so late in the holiday is due to some rides being refurbished before the 25th Feb.

We can fill the blanks with Wet N Wild, shopping or the beach. With regards to Gatorland, do people recommend it? also any ideas on the cost of admission?

A special thanks to Stacey for going through each day and giving a bit of advice!
