Discovery Cove & Aquatica

Just wondering if you buy a discovery cove ticket and include the 14 day pass to SW & BG is it possible to include Aquatica or do you have the buy those tickets seperately.

You can have Aquatica as an extra add on now - think it's called Discovery Cove Plus or something - I know because I added it on to our DC bookings that I made a few weeks ago :D

Just checked - it's called the Ultimate Package - think it was just an additional $50 to add the 14 days BG, SW and Aquatica on to the regular DC price. It came to $339 for those doing the dolphin swim and $239 for me as I'm not doing the dolphim swim this time.

We've just purchased ours it's discovery cove ultimate and includes SW, BG and Aquatica, 14 day pass. :spin:

It's a no brainer really - to get any other ticket for 14 days to 3 other parks would be a heck of a lot more than the add on to the DC ticket.
IF you are doing DC, it's silly not paying the little extra IMHO

we got the ultimate ticket for when we go in april, it was only around £30 extra to get the 14 days at sw bg and aquatica. ;)

I am so confused about Universal tickets etc, if you choose the above Ultimate, what do you get for the Universal parks?

These are the ultimate for discovery cove seaworld , aquatica and busch gardens. I think there is another ticket called ultimate that refers to universal and disney tickets. (i think) :erm:

Someone somewhere suggested getting the 7 day Universal ticket which includes IOA. I think! I'm sure someone will put me right. That's what I was looking at and it makes sense to me.

Yes, thats what I meant. We will be there for 10 days, and not really sure what tickets to get but will have a look at a 7 day Universal, I couldnt see one for 7 days when I looked, just 14 days but will look again.

Just to clarify - there is no Discovery Cove ticket that included the Universal parks - there is what used to be the 4 or 5 park Flex tickets (think they have a new name now) - that covered SW, BG, both Universal parks, and with the option of Wet and Wild. They now have the option of Aquatica as well.
It may be more worth your while to look at just paying for the DC day and then getting those tickets (although somehow think that would be a lot more expensive)
Somewhere like my fave supplier Attraction Tickets Direct - will have all these tickets on the site to make a comparison

I think you can only get the 7 day ticket from the US websites but I believe others buy them from the US and have had no problems. I think I priced it the other day to be about £57 (depending on the $)for the 7 day Universal / IOA ticket which is the same price as a 2 day / 1 free Universal ticket which you can get in the UK. Again I think this is right...have looked at so many tickets over the last 2 weeks that my brain is frazzled with info!

It still works out more expensive than if you don't do Discovery Cove but makes it less expensive if you, like me, desperately want to do it and are trying to justify it to the other half. My calculations make it only £87 for each of us to do DC rather than £164 which is the cheapest I've found.

Again I stress you need to work it out for yourself and not take my word for it. Others were working it out to be only a few pounds more but I couldn't fathom that out at all :blush:

If I've got this completely wrong then I apologise and if I have will someone please correct me cos right now, for us, Discovery Cove is looking like a possibility and I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing!

Oh, and as you're only going to be there for 10 days there is a 7 day option on the DC website but it doesn't give you all the parks. I think it includes Aquatica and a choice of Seaworld OR Busch Gardens. I don't know if that ticket was available in the UK. I found it on the DC website.
