It's me again :tounge:
Went to the Premium Factory Outlet just off the I4 last time and was well impressed. I noticed earlier the old Belz area seem to have been rebuilt as the Prime Factory Outlets (hopefully with the shops a lot closer !).
Just wondering what everyone thinks is now the better of the two ?

The old Belz one is not completed yet. They have to do the other side yet, but there is good shops in it. There wouldn't be as many shops as in the Premium Outlets but it is still good.

I was wondering what the old Belz were like now also. They were almost empty on our last visit so be good to hear what they are like now?
Not sure if anything can beat Premium mind for choice and they they are all linked up so much better than Belz ever was. I do find mind that over the years Premium is not as cheap as when it first opened and although Belz was passed its sell by date, we had many more bargains there.

We found the old Belz now Prime outlets offered greater value and bargains although still some walking between stores
but Premium outlets also worth a walk around

I loved the Premium outlets for their location but on our last visit (Nov) we found the new Prime had bigger and better bargains, some of the same stores but a larger selection.
The actual layout is very similar to Premium and most of the stores are now open, it just looks closed in areas due to the lack of landscaping at the northern end.
The downside of Prime was it took us longer to get there and if you're wanting to eat the food court was poor in comparison to the Premium Outets, although there are plenty of restaurants nearby and in the Festival Bay opposite.

The Ralph Lauren shop just down from the prime outlet was cheapet than the premium in october when we went. Jumpers my dh bought were $20 cheaper than at the premium along with some other differences. Though it wasnt as good value the prime offer was $150 get $25 back whilst the premium was $250 get $50 back which is handy if you dont want to spend as much as $250. We figure its because its maybe not as busy as the premium one
Premium for me although im not fussy when it comes to shopping :pgig:

OPO is far better in my opinion, Prime is an absolute pain to get to.

Without doubt Prime is far superior to Premium, the shops are better and yes although it is a little farther to walk the shops are far better and we spent 5 / 6 hours shopping and still didn't get to some shops. I agree that it is hassle getting there, but well worth it when you do....

They are both good but premium outlets is better for designer clothing and prime is better on a hot day with the air conditioning!!

Can't agree with you on that one I am afraid, it would be the last place on our list to visit.
The vast majority of shops at Prime are at OPO and because of its ease to get to (save yourself an hrs shopping waithing in traffic) and its location its almost impossible to beat.

I suppose we all have our favs, but with the new roads etc. and alot more parking spaces than at Premium I feel that it is much better. I feel that Premium is outdated and will always go to Prime everytime, we went on New Year's Day and didn't queue and found a parking space first time, we went past Premium and they were queuing for miles......
Prime is unquestionably the better of the two when you're comparing the food courts, restrooms, condition of shops, number of shops, etc. and I doubt I'll be going to to Premium any time soon as Prime is now my first choice.
I have never liked Prime. We much prefer Premium. Its more compact and at least we always find something to buy there. We always seem to come away empty handed from Prime.

Hi,
I love Premium :spin: (try the bourbon chicken in the food court - mmmmm  )
Although I haven't been to Prime for a long time so perhaps it should be added to the list for Summer. ;)

DH and i have always loved the Premium Outlet Mall, however on our last trip in September we stayed at Crowne Plaza Universal for a few days and went to the Prime mall for a change. We were impressed - i think when it's finished it will give the Premium a run for its money. We found it quieter, a good range of shops already open - especially the new Liz Claiborne outlet - really bright and modern, i picked up some great casual tops from there. We also found that there we had a better chance of finding our sizes in the Prime, i guess because it was less busy. Can't wait till its totally complete
For those that haven't been for a year don't forget that Prime is not just Belz renamed, it's been completely redeveloped!
