Hi all

We are off to Orlando for the first time in nov,now christmas is over its time for some serious planning.

We normally just wake up and see where the day takes us, but from what i gather thats a Bad idea for Disneyland....?

We definatley want to see fantasmic, osbourn lights, wishes and probably spectro magic.

So Is there any other Shows/parades that you think we should see.

There will be my daughter(9) son(6) the misses and myself.

My daughter is more of a tom boy and would not appreciate anything to "girly" (or pink).

Thanks in advance
:wavey: :thumbs-up :D :pgig:

Lion King - top class show, could watch this time and again. Wasn't impressed by Nemo. Technically it's very good but I just didn't like it.

Whoops ... I forgot Little Mermaid (simply because of the smile on my daughters face when it starts) and Mickey's Philgarmagic. Both cracking shows.

Philarmagic at MK and Lion King at AK. I love the Lion King and always try to watch it twice if I can.

As far as plannning goes we dont really have a day to day plan either, I think it is more about being armed with info as to shows parades and restaurants etc.
We will usually decide the next day's events the evening before (except of course for special ADRs and special events like Discovery Cove)As for shows I'd certainly suggest Lion King, Fantasmic. Not to keen on Nemo myself either but DH liked it.

Not really a show as such, but our "can't miss" are the Taiko drummers in Epcot. I staked out our place good and early, and DD was like "why are we waiting here?" and she watched the whole thing with her mouth open and pronounced it "awesome" at the end (I think that is pre-teen speak for "that was really rather good, mother" LOL).

I would recommend lion king, fantasmic, wishes fireworks, philharmagic, shrek 4D, little mermaid. At seaworld try all the shows, IMO there wasnt a bad one.

As its your first visit I would try and do most things you as may not visit again.
