I intend to apply for the parking tag as I am a blue badge holder. Could someone please tell me where we park with these tagsat the various parks? I would imagine it's an area closer than normal parking or near to where you catch the bus (?) that takes you to the monorail. It's that long ago I can't even remember how we actually got to the monorail from the car! :confused2 All I remember is that it seemed an awful long way.
Thanks

The disabled parking at Magic Kingdom (the TTC) is a long way from the monorail even though it's the closest parking area to the park. If you have a mobility disability but are not a wheelchair user requiring a van accessible or wider space I would actually suggest you stick to the regular parking lot and ask the CMs to direct you to the end of a row closest to the tram stop. You'll have less walking this way. You can hop on the tram almost right to the monorail or ferry. It's more difficult if you use a wheelchair because the trams are not wheelchair accessible, they don't pick up from the disabled lot, and it's quite a push to the monorail or ferry from where you park.
Another way to avoid a long walk is to valet park at one of the monorail resorts and just catch the monorail to the park entrance. We do this if we will be eating at a restaurant there, it's a bit cheeky if you're not. Valet parking is free to guests with disabled badges, just tip as usual.
At all the other parks the disabled parking is close to the park gates and well signposted as you enter.

I am a "Blue Badge" holder myself. I would not bother with the Tag just take your UK blue badge as both Disney Universal and Sea World will honor it the only restriction is disabled bays outside the theme parks. If it is limited mobility but you do not use a wheel chair it is often better to speak to the cast members directing the parking and ask for end of line as sometimes the parking is further to walk I remember MGM was good as long as you parked the right side! If I can help further please feel free to PM me
