Blue Ray DVDs

Hi All,

Will we be able to buy blue ray DVDs in Florida? Also, we have a 60g PS3 which I believe is region free so am I right in thinking DVDs bought in America should play fine on it?

Thats the info site I use too. Yes the majority of Blu Ray Discs will play on both the US and UK PS3, theres only a few that won't, but best to check first before buying.

DVD's bought in the US will not work on a UK 60GB PS3. Though as has been said above most US Blu-Ray discs will, but check the above site before buying.

We went to Florida in November and we to have a PS3. we brought back games that are region free but films are not, If you look on the back of the case and it has a B it will play, some don't have any letter but you would have to take a chance it will work.
We brought back:--

Disney Cars
Planet earth
Ocean 13 boxset
Polar express
Teenage turtles
King arthur
Tomb raider
Remember the titans
Close encounters of the third kind
Pirate of the caribbean 1 and 2


The best place to buy them was at Walmart. places like virgin and other store were a bit expensive.


If you happen to have an Xbox 360 with the HD play you can buy HD films as they are region free..
