Fast pass????

I gather fast passes get you on the rides quicker but ;) :-
are they for the Disney parks or Universal parks?
Where do you get them from?
How much are they?
and finally ;) we are going the 23rd Feb for 2weeks so do i need them or will the Q's be short enough :confused2 .

Fast passes are your disney tickets,you pop them in the fast past machine at the entrance to the ride,you`ll get a printed piece of paper with your fast pass time to return on.

You dont pay extra for them.

You can only fast pass one ride at a time with one disney ticket.

Not sure if Universal have something simular?

Universal used to have the same system, but now you are only able to use the "Universal Express" lines, if either you are staying at one of the Universal Resort Hotels which allows you unlimited entry to the express lines, or alternatively you purchase an Express day pass. This is on top of your entry ticket and entitles you to enter each participating ride once through the express line. These passes are limited and are sold on a first come first served basis, I'm not sure on how much they cost though.
