Bargain break to Salou

Just booked a bargain 5 day break for me DH and youngest DS.
Eldest DS is going on the 28th July to Sharm for 14 days with GF and family so decided to see if we could go for a cheap few days to Spain or somewhere whilst he's away. Managed to grab a bargain fight with Ryanair the other day flying on the 30th July for 5 days came to £245 including baggage :grin:
Then manage to book a hotel today on the Thomson website Half Board for £360.
So thats £600 for 5 days. Checked Thomsons again for 1 week for the same holiday as a package £1639 :d:
Chuffed to bits I am. Just hope the hotels OK, anyone been to the Calypso?
Anyone know of the cheapest place to get Portaventura tickets? :grin:

Dont know the cheapest, we got ours from Keithprowse.com, they are doing 7 nights for the price of 3 at the moment.

We didnt think much of Salou, but spent all our time in Port Aventura which was lovely and started us off wanting to go to Florida!

Been before tiff and agree with you re Salou but just happy to be going away for a few days in the sun and going to spend a couple of days and nights in the park.
Stayed in one of the park hotels last time so didn't have to fork out for tickets :grin:

buy them online direct from the park, they do a similar deal as US if you stay in the hotel with FOTL passes as well I believe

Salou has a great beach although if you can head out of town a little towards costa dorada and cambrills around 30minutes walk along the front you will find the beach is excellent and more local

Thought your deal was really good so I was trying to have a look for me and my boyfriend but Ryanair don't fly into Reus(Costa Dorada main airport). Can I ask where your flying into?

Rather than Salou, try Cambrills for a nice meal/wander around, it's lovely, very Spanish and classy.
