I would like to know what you think my 2 1/2 year old (when we get there) will love???

I think she will love the Lion King and the parades, not sure how she will be with the fireworks, but we are going to find out ;)
Anything you just know she will love?

large or small the more ideas the better

well there's playhouse disney on stage in mgm, there's a whole nemo building in epcot, there's a winnie the pooh ride in mk along with the merry-go-round and dumbo, the serengeti safari and other animal tours in the ak, and there's a new nemo puppet show in the ak too but we missed it this time... along with a whole lot more she will love

Nahhhhh! Think LARGE!! ;)

When we first took DD in 2006 she was 2 years and 10 months and she did everything we did :D Tower of Terror, Test Track, Splash, Railroad, Soarin' the lot!!!

Admittedly she is very, very tall for her age :omg: so we didn't have a problem with the height restrictions on us . From memory we couldn't get her on Rock and Roll Coaster and either Space Mountain or Mission Space (can't remember which) because the height requirement was higher for those, but other than them she did them all x 3!!!

Let her guide you. Children learn fear .... and while they are fearless they are great :thumbs-up

:d: But it was the screams that attracted her to it :erm:

DH and DS went on it and I waited outside with DD because we thought it would be 'too much' for her. In no time I had her crying she wanted to go on  so when the men folk came back off we all went. Soon as we got off she just turned aound and said 'Wanna go again' :)

my advice would be start cautiously. I took DD age 2 on rides at DLP and she was TERRIFIED, has never really recovered and still wont go on much age 4!!!!

All the parades, most of the shows except Tough to Be a Bug - even my nephew was scared in that and he loves everything - the Enchanted Tiki Rooms at MK is nice and gentle.

Flying Carpets good
Anything at Fantasyland except Snow White - my DD and nephew both very sacred!
Belle's Story time at MK - she tells a lovely little story to a small audience
Its a Small World she will love probbaly
Nemo ride at Epcot - really slow and gentle.

The Lilo and Stich show at MGM is nice as it is a show without a massive audenice.

Take a bag with swimming things or a change of clothes when you go to the parks and let her play in the water fountains, every time we go we see littlies having a great time with these.

See how she is with the characters, some kids can be a bit overwhelmed at first so it's probably best to let her see them at a safe distance first before you go for any meet and greets.

There are a few things which could potentially be scary for her but they do have warnings of loud noises, flashing lights or dark bits. You will know best what she will love and what she will hate.

Winnie the pooh ride is a must.
It's a small world they will love, you will be pulling your hair out.

My two ds aged 6 and 4 LOVE the water fountains at downtown disney, they spend ages there... ;)

My DS went on everything we did except anything with a height restriction. He wasn't frightened by anything at that age - I don't think he had enough awareness of what being scared was at that age. He loved the water play areas and just enjoyed the whole experience, characters, rides, fireworks, the lot! Your DD will surprise you how much she takes in.

the parades are a must for her, as are the musical shows.

as is the toon town area in magic kingdom. you will be able to meet some of the charachters in the airconditioned tent.

only you know here TBH but i am sure she will lead the way and no doubt surprise you with her stamina, and want to see and touch EVERYTHING.

remember to get a pushchair, there is along way to walk, and she will get tierd quickly, and you know who well behaved tierd kids are.

and finally remember to take plenty of pictures and if possible videos, the magic of the first trip can never be repeated so cherish it.
